This is a little different, but what the heck. Take a look at this clip (warning, some profanity). It's from a street interview that was done during the old Tom Green show. Is this old man on the street ANGRY to be interviewed or what? Holy Smokes!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfm8-zAenekBTW, where is this supposed to be? Ottawa?

It looks like it was filmed in downtown Ottawa, yes.
I guess some people just don't want to tell anyone where they're going. ;D

I thought perhaps that might be the case, too. Georgina, are you familiar with this area of Ottawa? Are there a lot of bars nearby? Perhaps a bar was "where he was going" or where he just came from.

He was syncopated--an uneven movement from bar to bar.

Tom Green is an arse, IMO. I'd not be surprised if it was all staged.

Well, yes, it seems obvious the old guy is drunk. He could have gotten drunk anywhere, though, and be wandering loose. The area is downtown, after all. I can't tell, exactly, whether that's Elgin street or Bank street in Ottawa. My best guess would be Elgin because of the big greenish buildings you can see in the background when they swing the camera angle around. There are a couple of distinct things that you'd be able to see on Elgin but not on Bank. They don't hold the camera still for long enough for me to sort it out. And both of those streets are lined with restaurants and small shops and whatnot. So that'd be my guess.

Regardless of the alcohol factor, this guy was probably already an angry person. He could have just refused to be interviewed. And at one point he even seems to be encouraging Tom Green to guess where he's going. Then he went apeshit about his private business being infringed upon.

Once the interviewer had been told that the chap didn't want to answer his questions, the interviewer should have switched off his camera and gone else where. I thought the incident appalling.

Chance is that he meant to make fun of the guy and didn't realize till it was too late that the guy would make him look the fool.
