Had a sudden trip to Indiana last week to be with family. It wasn't under the best of circumstances, but it was good to see everyone, all the same. I only lived there as a child, but it always feels like home.

I am sorry that there were less than ideal circumstances, but going to where the heart sees as home is always a good thing
I was concerned last week, but glad you are OK

Some circumstances are mixed blessings, aren't they?

I hope the weather was decent when you were here. It's been pretty dreary most of the time but there are some days that have been very nice just lately. Were you in Shelby County?

Most of my family lives in Greenfield or Morristown now. I passed through Shelbyville a few times. I had a few trips to Waldron; I have an uncle and aunt there.
My uncle retired from Knauf's and works nights at the casino. I had no idea there was a casino- that was kind of a shock. Nice place though, if you're into that sort of thing.
The weather was a little chilly, but actually not much different than Florida. We've had a cold winter.
My youngest uncle on my Mom's side passed away. Kind of unexpected as he was so young, but not surprising considering his lifestyle. Anyway, it was nice to see Indiana again, and it was the best visit I've had in the sense that I saw a lot of my relatives at one time, some I hadn't seen in decades.
