Getting a very cool thunderstorm right now. Claps of thunder 1 second after the lightning flash. Plenty of lovely rain to go with it.

Oh, what we wouldn't give for that right now in Indiana! We're in a drought and fields keep catching on fire and it's probably not going to be a very pretty fall since the leaves are so dry they're falling prematurely. I love t storms, too. Right up to the point where the tornado sirens go off. Then it's stop watching and corral the cat!

We have had slow, constant rain for several days now. Should start to clear up on Friday I hear.

A few days even felt like November! It's supposed to get better this weekend, though: sun and temperatures in the 60s.

Rode to work today and it was if it had never happened. High winds had blown most of the water and debris off the bike paths. Sunny conditions, perfect for cycling. Quite a contrast to yesterday, but we're famous for that.
