Chemically, what you need to develop a film is something to reduce the silver salts in the film. Cafeine will do this if it is alkaline. You need to add washing soda to the coffee and I also added Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) which is also a reducing agent.
I shall finess the developing time with the next film - next week hopefully.
