Today I need to work behind my computer desk which necessitates going offline. But when I am done, the bedroom will have been painted and the new draperies hung. It is coming along nicely, but no more taking What's News breaks for several hours.
Play nice

What is "manila"? Please bear in mind that men are colour-blind. Sage is a herb, rose is a flower and lemon is a fruit. If it is not one of the 16 basic internet colours, men do not recognise it.

They call it manila - but the end result is like vanilla cream.....a cream tone with a touch of brown (like vanilla extract).
I am so happy with the colors. Just got the last of the draperies up, and I am pleased.

Manila...like a manila folder. I thought even guys would know THAT color. I need something that color. I don't like the color on my office walls, the somewhat mocha beige color came out too pink and clashes with the blue on the accent wall. I don't have the energy or inclination to change it now, so will just live with it for a while, but I really need a beige that's more creamy and not pinkish.

The Kilz paint line - called Manila (and not the yellowy manila, the creamy vanilla one)

Manila...like a manila folder. I thought even guys would know THAT color. I didn't make the connection. Besides, folders are places in your computer where you organise your documents. They don't really have a colour.

Manila envelopes? Surely you've seen those.

It is not the envelope, but the color that he has not seen..... As you mentioned in another thread Beth, it's all in fun. We are not that savage here, at least not yet.

I was just going with the color-blind men thing ;D My mum always told me I'd go blind. Maybe I should have listened.
