Every year, it seems, we have to have a lovely blizzard-type storm in May. Today's the day. Joy.
At least we're getting it over with early this month.

I've already had two people call me at home to tell me that the highways are skating rinks and they can't make it in today, or at least this morning. I know they aren't goofing off. Geez what a mess out there.

It would be really rare for us to have a storm this late. I always look forward to the end of worrying about roads like that. Sorry, G !!

It seems to be turning into a yearly ritual, here. Every May we have a terrific snow storm right around my birthday. The upside is that Bean has calmed down again. Instantly, actually. She's been really worked up by the nice weather insisting that she needs to go out, even just to sit in the hallways, constantly. She's displayed quite a bit of anxiety about it. But, last night and this morning, she's right back into her normal routine of calmness and comfort. I had no idea that her mental state was so weather dependent. Anyway, there's a good four inches of wet, packed snow on the ground, now, near white-out-skies, and high winds. Fun!
