Such a stupid thing - playing with the pups in the snow and just twisted something....never had a back issue before, and I cannot imagine how hard this is for people with on-going problems like this. My heart goes out to them. Made it for 6 hours at work today before I called it a day (took my heating pad and used it all day there LOL)

I was incapacitated for over a week once because I picked up a penny off the sidewalk! Our backs are strange, mysterious things and when they act up the entire body feels it. With off-and-on back issues I've learned that the best thing for my own back is to get up as soon as possible and walk as much as I can. I learned this after my doc kept prescribing bed rest and it seemed to make it worse. Not all backs are the same so I have no advice for you other than to do what seems to work for yours. Heat definitely makes it feel better. And ibuprofen helps a lot, too. Good luck with the darned thing! (at least it gets you out of shoveling snow )
