Hi, Beth.
About how long of a drive is it from Rochester to Seneca Falls, New York?
Thanks.

About an hour....I LOVE Seneca Falls (the town "It's a Wonderful Life" was based on Seneca Falls). And the Women's Museum should not be missed !

I've had a New York State trip in mind for a while now (hopefully for next summer). I always start thinking about my trips long in advance Naturally, amusement parks will be a big part of it! But I'm also putting a lot of thought into what other attractions I want to see in your state. Seneca Falls and the National Women's Hall of Fame are places I've been planning on including as part of any trip. And I'm also aware that the fictional town of Bedford Falls is supposed to be based on Seneca Falls. In fact, isn't there now an "It's a Wonderful Life" museum in Seneca Falls? If so, that would be on my list, too. Do you know of any other attractions in the Seneca Falls area? By the way, speaking of other attractions/oddities, there is another possible "trip stop" I'll probably add as well. I just found out about it recently. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of this place or not, but I'll do a post about it soon so you'll see what I mean.

I do not know of a museum based on the film, but I know there is interest in creating one.
They are knee deep in wine country, so there are lovely vineyard and winery tours (that follows all along the Southern Tier of NY).

Have you ever heard of a place in the Rochester area called the House of Guitars? From what I understand, it's in the same general area as Sea Breeze--in the town of Irondequoit.

I'm trying to put together a number of places in New York State that would all be part of an upcoming trip there. Panama Rocks is another one. Beth, when someone is at Seabreeze, how close to the water (Lake Ontario) is the park?

It is right where the Genesee River and Lake Ontario meet - you can easily see the water from several of the rides. The lake is within walking distance from the park
