After a couple of months looking around (with a break for Easter), I have landed a new job.
I will glory in the title of Project Dependency Analyst. I'll be part of the Business Transformation team of a major health insurer. My job will be to identify all their projects and the dependencies between them, and flag the ones that must be done right away as part of their big strategic transformation.
It's a consultancy so it will only go for about 3 months. Still the money's good, and it may lead to a longer engagement, I hope.

Congrats, WS! And, ditto for Beth...voluntarily or being forced to start looking? Good luck with it either way.

Shutting down our facility and I turned down a transfer to Danbiuy, CT.....
so I will be looking once I get all my current employees through their end dates and ensure they get their stay bonuses and all the benefits they were promised. I haven't taken care of these people for 15 years to leave them to fend for themselves.

Just make sure you're not the one left out in the cold after you've helped them all out.

I won't. Not really sure what comes next. A lot depends on the market, and how much of our retirement i want to cash in on early.....maybe something less stressful, simpler. I know that will pay considerably less, but that might be what is right for a while. Not sure, but i know I will be when the time comes
