I'm sure this has been discussed here, but it hit home seeing it in Daytona. I always figured the Westbury Church in Kansas stayed in Kansas. Go here and click on "Local Soldier Remembered": www.cfnews13.com/MediaPlayer2/MediaPlayer.htm?video=&cat=&title=Pax had challenged me on being soft on the Bill of Rights (except for the Second Amendment). I'm all for First Amendment freedom of speech and the right to peaceably assemble, but this seems to go too far. There's a time and a place for everything, and I don't see a funeral with the family of the deceased attending as the time or the place. The news didn't show many of the signs, but looking at godhatesamerica.com, I would think signs like that could be considered "fighting words" as in Chaplinksky v. New Hampshire.

Wayne, I originally took your statements regarding that you post on the "other" rights on other boards as an excuse. It finally got through to me that the reason you don't post about them here is that you generally agree with people here regarding those rights, and see no need to post about them. Some people like to "me too," others don't. You're in that latter category. I think that you are a man of few words, but you mean what you say.
That doesn't mean I will agree with you all the time, and I almost certainly will continue to challenge some of your conclusions and the manner in which you arrived at them...!
Anyway, I do apologize for giving you such a hard time about that.
Regarding Phelps.... well, he has the freedom to do it, but we don't have to like that he does it.
