Saw Monday's Daily Show yesterday. Jon Stewart did a segment on what's going in on Tennessee these days.
Specifically... Tennessee is working on a bill to make it so that the word "homosexual" and all the rest that goes with it can't even be mentioned in school. In an interview, a proponent said, "This is neutral. We're not saying homosexuals are good or bad. We're just making sure it's not mentioned either way. It's neutral."
Jon Stewart pointed out, however, that there is ANOTHER bill ALSO moving through the Tennessee legislature at the same time. It's a bill to require schools to teach "alternate" theories of creation. Because that's neutral, too.
Depends on how you define "neutral."
