What are yours? Why not share them with us? Here is one of my favorite Christmas songs. It's called "Little White Berry" by Roy Castle. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLbwZsmAc4sThose of you from the UK will surely know who Castle was. And those of you who like Frank Sinatra or Harrick Connick Jr-type music should really listen to this! I only discovered this song a few years ago while listening to the Brian Matthew radio program on Internet BBC radio. I love this song! And although Roy Castle was mainly known in the UK, from what I understand this song was also a US hit in 1960.

Sorry Brian, I could not find a you tube clip to this classic www.imdb.com/title/tt0698585/ but should you find the movie you will see another aspect of the talent of Roy C.

Also the Castleton carol if only for its lovely harmony and seriously weird imagery. 'While shepherds watched' to any tune other than the standard, (Pentonville is a good one). 'While shepherds' is a carol that can be sung to almost any tune. We once sang it all around our village exclusive of any other to a whole bunch of tunes. seriously anthemic? try 'Cranbrook' better known over here as the folk song Ilkley moor Baht'at. or how about 'The amazing grace'. Have fun, we did.

When A Child Is Born www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPp7mVTstv4 This is always my favourite, the lyrics suggest a better future, it's always dashed by the New Year mind you. Merry Christmas everyone.
